Arts & Crafts Style Quarter Sawn Oak Tray
This special piece was made for a local man who was
seeking a gift for his wife. She
wanted a tray to sit solidly on their ottoman and hold beverages.
Their home is of Arts & Crafts style and he sought a design in
keeping with the décor. Working
together we were able to make a design that included many elements of the
traditional A&C style while remaining very functional.

 Arts & Crafts Lamps
The bases are made from Red Oak.
They have been fumed and stained in the A&C tradition. The shades are
made by wife who is an artisan in her own right.
Arts
& Crafts Style Entertainment Center
CD players have changed the form of entertainment
centers. This simple technology
means we no longer need a wall-full of equipment when a small cabinet will do
the job. This one resides in an A&C bungalow in Asheville, NC.
The customer gets all of the credit for the design including the Greene
& Greene influence (cloud lift) feet that make the piece seem to float in
mid-air. Made from poplar and
stained to look like cherry.

This is a detail of one of the drawers on the same entertainment
center. They are CD holders.
The apparent color difference is due to the photo.
